Currently, Arielle is working for Chicopee Public Schools as a School Adjustment Counselor and Team Chair. Arielle helps to coordinate special education services and provides support to K-5 students at Litwin School.
Before joining Chicopee Public Schools, Arielle worked as an Intensive Case Manager at Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership where she collaborated with health providers to authorize and coordinate the most appropriate level of service for acute clients. Prior to working at MBHP, Arielle worked as a therapist and program coordinator at the Child Guidance Clinic in Springfield, MA. Arielle supervised two school based programs and regularly consulted to classroom teachers and school personnel. Arielle has collaborated with teachers around a variety of topics, including behavior management and preventing teacher burn-out.
Prior to obtaining a Master’s of Social Work from Smith College, Arielle taught Psychology and Spanish at The Marvelwood School in Kent, CT. It was there that Arielle began to develop her passion for education and the need to bridge multiple systems in order to best address the needs of the people within those systems.
