Moira is a middle school English language arts teacher at \Van Sickle Middle School in Springfield, Massachusetts. She is also a theatre arts teacher and a school theater director. Her educational interests include mentoring beginning teachers, promoting reflective practice, and working with the Western Massachusetts Writing Project. She has taught professional development workshops for the City of Springfield, served on Van Sickle Middle School’s School Improvement Team, directed two annual school musicals for the past 10 years, and taught courses at Springfield Technical Community College.
